The luxury real estate market in Italy is in robust health.
The April 2019 edition of, Fortune Italia magazine, on sale now, explores the situation:
In the first half of 2018, compared to the same period of 2017, there was an increase of 26.73% in the purchase and sale of properties with a value of more than 900 thousand euros. In terms of properties with a value of more than one million euros, 1028 properties were sold in 2018 compared to 865 the year before. An increase of 18.84%. The Luxury real estate market sector “is less exposed than others to economic conditions. The uniqueness of the Italian offer, which is inextricably linked to our architectural, landscape and cultural heritage, represents a strong element of attraction”, says Giandomenico De Tullio, Managing Partner of De Tullio Law Firm, which operates in the luxury real estate market.
Luxury real estate is therefore booming, indifferent to market changes. Lionard, one of the most important players at a national level, with a real estate portfolio of 13.32 billion euros, tells us about the Italian luxury real estate sector.
Once you have purchased a luxury home, you need equally luxurious furnishings. Natuzzi, a small business founded in Apulia in the 1960s that has become one of the few Italian companies listed on Wall Street, talks about its “high spending clientele” and its tastes in interior design, totalling 449.6 million euros in turnover in 2017 in 123 markets around the world.
